The operating times of automated packaging plants depend on the speed of the gluing process.
One of the most effective adhesives in this process is 'Hot Melt', a mixture of polymers, resin and wax widely used in the food industry and other sectors, which offers many advantages: very fast adhesion times, high flexibility, easy handling and excellent 'sticking- power'.
Wax reduces viscosity, increases crystallinity and thus regulates the adhesion time of glue as well as the time it can be exposed to the open air. These factors are critically important as they guarantee the quality of the finished hot-melt.
