Waxes are extremely versatile and have a great number of potential uses. They are widely used in the food industry for coating cheeses, polishing citrus and other fruit and coating chewing gum and, of course, in these cases the wax must be non- toxic, certified and in compliance with current food safety standards.

Wax can also be utilised in jewellery production (micro casting), on the insides of thermosstatic values, as a dehydrations retardant in cement, in food pellet production for the zoological sector and in the pharmaceutical sector to name but a few.
